Silver Award 2009 Updates from Mrs McKenna

The Silver lot have been busy!  Both the Assessed and Practice Expeditions took place in the last 3 weeks in the beautiful Wye Valley.  Thankfully no rain (apart from the Friday morning), no-one got too badly lost and the campsite was gorgeous.  See the PHOTOS links for some great campfire and mallows shots!

Bronze (Year 10) Sessions

 Tuesday 12.30 - 1.00pm with Mr Gardner

Friday 12.30 - 1.00pm with Miss Gerhold

Bronze Award (Year 10) Key Dates

Sat 13th March, 9.00am-4.00pm - Practice walk around Caerleon and camp-craft session.

Sat 19th June, 9.00am meet / Sun 20th June, 4.00pm return - Assessed expedition, Wye Valley.  This will involve a 15km walk and overnight camp.

Silver  (Year 11/12) Sessions

 Wednesday 12.20 - 1.00pm with Mrs McKenna and Mr Jones in C10

Fri 25th to Sat 26th June - Year 11 (Group 1) Expedition to the Wye Valley

Sat 26th to Sun 27th June - Year 11 (Group 2) Expedition to the Wye Valley

Weds 7th July - Year 12 Preparation Day

Mon 12th to Wed 14th July - Year 12 Expedition to the Gower Peninsula
